Lima time!
The best negative fantasy pitcher in baseball has just signed a minor league deal with the NY Mets. Royals fans, it's time to rejoice as it makes it that much harder for Baird to resign Jose. Though, considering Baird and his penchant for mediocre "veteran" pitchers, you never know.

I have more 'faith' your latter point, Baird's ability to create a team where crappy veterans pitch lots of starts than I do Lima to suck and get to pitch as much as last year.

MLB denied the Mets request to let Lima wear his old jersey number of 42, which he had switched away from after Houston.
Insightfully Lima said, "I liked it because I wore No. 42 when I had my good years with Houston."
Ah, so now we know why he sucks so bad.
